Fall brings the changing colors of the Aspens to a brilliant golden hue. In this long exposure photograph, we see the flowing mountain water of Vail, Colorado rushing over the rocks. Adhering to the rocks are Aspen leaves in various shades of color and condition. The highlight is the lone leaf in the center which remains motionless in the midst of the powerful water all around.

My love for travel coupled with my career as a commercial pilot has afforded me the opportunity to see the beauty of this world in both place and people. My wife and I have always loved traveling and immersing ourselves in a location that often was very different from the world we lived in day-to-day. We liked the sense of being transported away from our everyday lives and learning as much as we could while we were there.
