Artist's Description

Stained Glass Panel inside the church at Sainte Mere Eglise, the first town liberated by the allies during D-Day. The bottom inscription in the glass reads "They Have Come Back" dedicated to the paratroopers who gave their lives liberating France and eventually marching in to Germany to end World War II.

My love for travel coupled with my career as a commercial pilot has afforded me the opportunity to see the beauty of this world in both place and people. My wife and I have always loved traveling and immersing ourselves in a location that often was very different from the world we lived in day-to-day. We liked the sense of being transported away from our everyday lives and learning as much as we could while we were there.
