Description
This night photograph is a long exposure of Jackson Square in New Orleans, Louisiana. St Louis Cathedral is the oldest cathedral in the United States. It is flanked on the left by the Cabildo where the final Louisiana Purchase documents were signed and the Presbytere on the right which is now a museum. The square is decorated for the holidays on this December night with horses and carriages at the forefront. light remnants from passing cars, buses and the blur of people add to the dynamic feel while the static crystal clear buildings provide the feeling of permanence.
