As you venture out into Rome at night, you reach an overlook of the ruins of the Roman Forum. With this long exposure photograph, the ruins are dramatically lit and the street and building lights burn themselves into the scene.

My love for travel coupled with my career as a commercial pilot has afforded me the opportunity to see the beauty of this world in both place and people. My wife and I have always loved traveling and immersing ourselves in a location that often was very different from the world we lived in day-to-day. We liked the sense of being transported away from our everyday lives and learning as much as we could while we were there.
